PODIO ADMINISTRATOR
Purpose of role
Input details and keep Podio (our management system) updated
Tasks
• Input new members
• Link fields ie finding details from websites etc and inputting into our system
• Maintain correct data
• Input follow up dates • Remind other users on follow ups • Provide a short report every 2 months of the KPI’s (key performance indicators) on Podio
Location
Attend periodic meetings as required.
Support and supervision
There is ongoing day to day support from the Trustees and steering group. The Chair will meet with you every 2 months and you will be required to attend a 6-weekly meeting with the steering group to discuss how things are going. No prior knowledge of Podio is required for this role.

AMBASSADOR
Purpose of role
Identify and recruit member organisations
Tasks
• Help identify candidates
• Meet candidates, tell them about DAA and the benefits to their organisation
• Conduct or arrange Dementia Friends session for their staff
• Invite them to become members
• Help them complete the application form
• Update Podio
• Follow up
Location
Visit potential members
Attend periodic meetings as required.
Support and supervision
You will undergo a training session
There is ongoing day to day support from the Trustees and steering group.

FUNDRAISER COORDINATOR
Purpose of role
Manage the fundraising aspect of the charity.
Tasks
• Understand our budget and work with us to ensure that we are raising sufficient funds to continue our work
• Help co-ordinate fundraising events throughout the year
• Introduce ideas and concepts on fundraising
• Advise on what grants we may apply for
• Help apply for grants
Location
Attend periodic meetings as required.

Purpose of role
Support the IT systems in place. These include Podio.
Tasks
• Understand our Podio System
• Add or remove apps and updates
• Help our systems to flow better
• Ensure our systems are secure
• Advise generally on what we may need to ensure we are able to adequately support the charity
• Provide a very short report every 2 months
• Update and maintain our website

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Purpose of role
Help increase our social media presence.
Tasks
• Regularly using social media sites to send messages to raise our profile
• Increase use of social media
• Consider any other social media platforms that maybe helpful
• Updating our LinkedIn page
• Provide a very short report of progress every 2 months
• Engage with businesses so we can meet with them and get them on board as members

VICE SECRETARY
Purpose of role
Work closely with the Secretary to produce accurate minutes and arrange meetings
Tasks
• Attend meetings of various groups to take minutes
• Type minutes and distribute to appropriate persons
• Help arrange meetings
• Ensure all minutes are assigned to Podio (our software system) • Generally support the DAA in their mission to make B&NES dementia friendly

TRUSTEE
Purpose of role
To ensure the charity achieves its objectives and complies with all aspects of its charitable status. Trustees are appointed by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity Trustees for an initial term of 3 years.

VOLUNTEERS COORDINATOR
Purpose of role
Help recruit, co-ordinate and retain volunteers
Tasks
• Communicate with the volunteers as to opportunities
• Create working groups to take projects forwards
• Arrange meetings for think tank group
• Attend Steering group meetings and volunteer group meetings
• Raise any training needs
• Develop volunteering opportunities where possible
• Maintain the volunteers database
• Produce a short every 2 months progress report
